The first season of the Beyond the Trade podcast is here, and we’re taking a closer look at partnerships. In the opening episode, Adrian Nardelli shares how he built a partner business around live trading, why Exness suits both his trading and partnership models, and how he turns audience interest into long-term engagement.

Presented in Spanish, the episode is available with YouTube-generated English subtitles. It also explores the business behind Adrian’s trading academy, including the free live rooms for those who sign up using his link, which further supports his acquisition model; how he reinvests part of his partner commission to support retention; and the role he expects AI to play in the future of online business.

Watch now:

How discipline shaped his trading and teaching

Adrian describes his early trading years as a long process of learning through experience. The turning point came when he began controlling what he calls the “crazy days,” when frustration could lead to revenge trading and emotional decisions. A single uncontrolled session could undermine progress made over a much longer period.

Over time, he stopped measuring commitment by how often he traded. Sometimes, the more controlled decision was to stay out of the market. “Today it means I fully understand that sometimes not trading is trading, that you don’t need to trade every single day doing scalping,” Adrian says.

This perspective also informs his view of why some traders leave the markets too soon. Social media can make progress appear faster and more predictable than it is, creating unrealistic expectations about the time and work involved. His experience taught him the importance of emotional control, realistic expectations, and knowing when to stop.

These lessons support what Adrian calls the three freedoms of trading: time, money, and movement. He says his scalping routine lets him concentrate on trading for approximately one hour a day, leaving more time for his academy, partner business, and family.

I think it’s the three freedoms trading gives you. Freedom of time... Freedom of money... And the most important one, I think, is freedom of movement... Here, you just grab your laptop and go somewhere else, done.”

These freedoms reflect Adrian’s personal experience and are not guaranteed outcomes of trading. They help explain the priorities behind the routine and business he has built.

His experience also shapes how he teaches. Through live sessions, members of his community can observe his process rather than only studying the theory.

The thing I like most about the trading academy is that I teach by example. They watch me trade live, and that really shortens the learning process, seeing their knowledge improve, how they know nothing when they start, just like I started.”

This does not mean a beginner should jump into live trading right away. It's always advisable for new traders to test their abilities with a risk-free Exness demo account.

The live format allows Adrian to demonstrate both action and restraint. Over time, his academy became the foundation of his partner business, connecting practical education with an ongoing community experience.

Connecting acquisition with a relevant offer

Adrian provides access to a free live-trading product for people who register through his Exness partner link. This gives interested leads a clear reason to join his community and experience his teaching approach.

He supports the model through significant investment in advertising and a launch strategy designed to attract many leads within a concentrated period.

Adrian explains that organic growth eventually hits a ceiling, making paid advertising essential for true scalability. His proven strategy first validates his business model, tests campaigns with a small budget, and then aggressively scales his ad spend to reach a massive audience through major campaign launches.

Why Exness suits his scalping approach

Adrian says he chose Exness because its trading conditions aligned with his scalping strategy. He highlights swap-free trading and his experience with order execution as important considerations.

Short-duration trading activity also matters to his partnership. Under the applicable eligibility conditions, trades lasting less than five minutes can generate partner commission.1 This is relevant to Adrian because scalping often involves positions that remain open for short periods.

For him, the trading and partnership sides of the relationship need to work together. The conditions must support his approach, while the commission model needs to recognize eligible trading activity generated by referred clients.

Reinvesting to support retention

Adrian does not treat registration as the final stage of the relationship. He reinvests part of his partner commission into his community to support continued engagement. “You earn a partner commission, and part of that commission you can reinvest by giving it to the people trading with the broker through your link. That creates retention. It is giving them a reason to stay.”

This principle places retention alongside acquisition. The live trading rooms give Adrian’s referred clients an ongoing reason to participate while continuing to offer the experience that first attracted them.

His approach turns the academy into more than an entry point. It becomes the part of the model responsible for maintaining the relationship after registration.

How AI could support future growth

Adrian expects AI to change how online businesses operate over the next two years. He believes it will make lead acquisition and loyalty initiatives easier to organize and scale.

For a partner business handling a large volume of leads, AI could reduce some of the manual work involved in managing growth. Adrian sees this as an opportunity to simplify business processes while focusing on the community behind them.

This remains Adrian’s personal outlook on how AI may influence online businesses. Its effect will depend on how companies apply the technology and the value they provide to their audiences.

A business built around a personal purpose

Adrian’s motivation extends beyond trading and business growth. He wants to create long-term financial security for his family.

Without a doubt, the motivation is that my family never lacks anything, and the day I’m not around, they’re truly financially solid.”

In the podcast, Adrian reflects on the challenge of raising his daughters with financial privilege, contrasting their comfortable lives with his own upbringing where he had to work from a young age. To prevent them from taking their situation for granted, he and his wife actively resist the urge to give in to instant gratification, instead focusing on teaching them that every reward requires real effort and patience. He is even writing a book for his daughters to ensure they understand the value of hard work and how to manage success responsibly.

This purpose connects the different parts of his story. Greater control helped him move beyond the “crazy days.” His academy lets Adrian teach through experience, while his partnership approach connects that educational work with a structured business model.

Episode one of Beyond the Trade podcast shows how these elements developed together. Adrian’s experience highlights the importance he places on personal discipline, a relevant offer, and continued community engagement.
