Quotes History

  • Tool Selection:
  • Timeframe:
  • Year:

The History Center contains information about currency pairs and financial instruments for different time periods. You can download the files you require and use MetaTrader to test strategies and do technical analysis

Working with quotes history

Begin by selecting the account type from the drop down list.

To download, select a currency pair or financial instrument and timeframe (M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1, W1, MN), that you trade in, as well as the month and year for which the data is required.

You will get an option of a .zip file for download, which can be saved to your computer. After saving, unzip it and you will get a .csv file.

You should bear in mind that you may need to download several files, depending on what period and timeframe you have selected:

  • For a timeframe of less than an hour, each file consists of information for one month.
  • For a timeframe in an hour, each file consists of information for one year.
  • For a timeframe with a duration of more than four hours all information is held in one file.
