Instructions for safely storing information

Dear Client!

In order to keep your trading accounts safe, please study these instructions carefully and follow their recommendations.

Funds in trading accounts at Exness (hereinafter, the "Company") are secured using both standard security methods (passwords) and an additional level of security (confirmation via email or SMS).

Currently, your username to sign into the Exness website is the email address you used when registering. Please carefully protect your email address from unauthorized access!

Recommendations for protecting email

  1. If possible, use email services with two layers of authentication.
  2. Delete the security questions in your email account's security settings or use random characters as answers. Remember: answering a security question is the most popular way to hack an email account!
  3. Use a strong password to sign into your email account. Your password should not contain whole words, it should be longer than ten characters, and it should include numbers and capital letters.
  4. If you access the service through the web interface, disable the SMTP, POP3, and IMAP protocols in your email account's settings. This will protect your email account from a brute force attack.
  5. Refrain from clicking on questionable links in emails from unknown people or organizations! If you receive an email containing some link and you click on it, do not subsequently enter any passwords.

During registration you selected the following additional account security type: email.

An email will be sent to the email address provided during registration procedure when balance operations are performed or account settings are changed. The email will contain a unique code to confirm the requested transaction. After the code has been entered in the corresponding field on the website, the transaction is confirmed and will be executed. Please note! If you receive an email with a code but you did not perform any operations in your Personal Area, immediately delete the email and report the incident to technical support. Never give a secret confirmation code to anyone.

NOTE! Email confirmation of a transaction offers a low level of security! After gaining control of your email account, a hacker can both access your Personal Area and withdraw funds to a different account. Please be careful when using this type of security.

Please observe the following rules which are created to provide additional security for your account:

  1. Never disclose the password to your Personal Area to third parties in order to avoid a hacker gaining access to it. Technical support personnel do NOT have access to your Personal Area, and they do NOT have the right to ask you for the password to your Personal Area. Company employees may only ask you for your telephone password, which is used to identify you. In order to give access to a particular account to third parties (for example, investors), use the account's investor password. This password does not allow account settings to be changed, or transactions or fund transfers to be executed in your name.
  2. Never disclose the secret PIN codes sent to you by email.
  3. We strongly recommend saving the password to your Personal Area in a separate file on some dedicated external media (USB flash drive, CD, etc.) stored in a safe place, and deleting it from your computer.
  4. If you suspect you have become a victim of fraud, please immediately contact technical support via Live Chat or by email at complaints@exness.com.

In accordance with our Client Agreement, the following forms of communication are permitted between the Client and the Company:

  • email (with the @exness.com domain, for example support@exness.com),
  • the MetaTrader trading platform's internal mailing system,
  • the telephone number listed on the Company's website in the Contacts section,
  • mail,
  • the "Feedback" section in the Personal Area,
  • Live Chat.

The Company does NOT use the following as official forms of communication: ICQ, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, etc. Any email sent from a domain other than @exness.com, is NOT an official communication from the Company, even if the email address contains "Exness". Information received from such email addresses does NOT have any relation to the Company.

Dear Client! We hope that the recommendations above will be useful to you. Exness is doing everything possible to ensure the security of your funds. However, without your cooperation, we can't fully guarantee the security of your Personal Area.

If you do not comply with these security requirements, you should be aware that you are taking full responsibility for the safety of the funds in your accounts at Exness.
